Hi all,
I'm in the process of buying my first tractor, a 1980 ford 1700. I am knowingly buying it without working headlights. The seller seems to think the headlight switch is burned out, seems like this is fairly common for older tractors but to be honest I don't know. So two questions. First, is there a way to test either the headlights themselves or the switch to determine which part needs to be replaced? If it does turnout to be the headlight switch any suggestions on where to pick up a replacement?
Thanks in advance for all of your help.
