Ford 1715 Oil issues

Dad started our Ford 1715 up a couple of days ago, and did something it's never done before. It started blowing oil out the breather tub that connects to the top of the valve cover on top of the engine. Not just a little bit. The oil was streaming out. I checked the oil today and it's almost to the top of the dipstick, way beyond the "full" mark. It also looks very thin and smells strongly of diesel. So I'm guessing fuel is somehow making it into the crankcase while the tractor is sitting. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Lower o-rings on the injector pump delivery valve(s) have failed. Time for an injection pump overhaul.

Any idea where to find an overhaul kit for the injector pump? I can't seem to find one online. Looks like it uses a Shibaura J843 engine.

We have a local shop which works on the big diesel trucks. I had them rebuild the injectors on my Mitsubishi tractor. The said they could rebuild the pump, too. You may not find a kit specifically for your injector pump but check in with a local diesel shop.

You need a kit plus a test stand to measure fuel delivery and the knowhow to get it done. Messing with delivery valves on an in-line pump is generally not considered to be a DIY project.
