Had pump rebuilt. Took apart control valve under steering wheel. Found 2 broken in half centering springs between plungers. Replaced with new. Now steering turns fine to left but no power to right. This control valve has 4 plungers with 2 centering springs and 2 plungers with ball bearing which is I'm assuming,a check valve. This tractor has only 1 steering cylinder mounted between the front wheels. Any ideas would be appreciated. Dan
After writing this post I went out and disassembled the control valve. With help from a friend discovered that the top bearing and races were upside down causing the right turn to hit the steering post case. Flipped them over and now have steering to the right. So basically the 2 broken centering springs was the trouble all along. Anyone trying this repair should carefully note how the parts are fitted as well as take pictures of every step. Thanks to all who read this post even though there were no replies. Dan
