ford 1900 opinions

found a low hour ford 1900 with a woods belly mower for $3500. Will be mowing my yard which is open with few tree's. Is this a quality tractor with parts and service support from local dealers?

Yes it is a great tractor. I have a 1600, one size smaller, it has been great. The 2 stick shifters are easy to use and let you choose the perfect gear. A lot of people will tell you its too old, I totally disagree. A found a water pump online much much cheaper than a local dealership wanted. If you can turn a wrench, it should be a great buy.

I love my 1900. It has plenty of power and will do more than I ever expected it to do. If you are looking at a 4X4 make absolutely sure the the
4X4 works properly. Parts for the 4X4 can be expensive. These tractors are very tough. With A little tlc and common sense they will last a long time
