I recently purchased this tractor used, and it didn't come with any of the operator manuals and most of the operation decals are gone/painted over. It's a 1986 model year Ford 1910 tractor with a 770B loader. I have 2 questions.. one about the tractor and one about the loader. On the tractor, there is a lever next to the lever that controls the 3 point hitch. I can't figure out what this lever does.. anyone know? It's not the PTO engagement, or the 4WD selector. I'm stumped!
On the loader, the float position is very hard to get into. At first I didn't think it had float, but discovered yesterday that if I push the stick forward pretty hard it does engage into float. When I say I need to push it hard, I mean 2 hands hard!! Almost enough pressure to bend the control handle. Anyone run into this, and know the fix? Thanks for any help!!
