Has anyone rebuilt a Ford 1910 3 Cylinder Diesel? Was wondering how hard it is or costly
to replace sleeves and pistons. Is it worth sending to a shop for repairs?
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

I just looked on the N/H site and the liners are $238 each and the piston assembly is $284 each. I am not sure if this engine is a wet sleeve or a dry sleeve. The wet sleeves are fairly easy to pull. Dry sleeves can be a nightmare. Since it is apart you will probably want to change the bearings. You are going to end up with about $2000 in parts if you do it your self. Before you do any thing make sure the parts are available. These tractors are getting harder to find parts for. Just because the N/H site says they are available doesn't mean they have them.
