Hi guys, this is my first post but I've been lurking for a while.

I'm in the process of replacing the clutch on my Ford 1920. I found some great advice from MikeWard and thegoul in a couple of really helpful old threads. Overall the dis-assembly is going well, there was some cursing related to pulling the steering wheel, but I got it and there were no major hiccups until it was time to remove the 4WD driveshaft. Now, I'm pretty confident I'm missing something stupid, but I was getting to the point where I thought I might break something. I'd really appreciate some pointers.

Here are the old posts I'm following, btw they are much more useful then my shop manual.

Thanks,
Todd

I've worked at a New Holland dealership for nearly 20 years and I've yet to see anyone remove the steering wheel of a 1920 to do a clutch job.
As for the driveshaft, remove the two piece sleeve/clamp that is at one end of the driveshaft cover. Drive out the roll pin in the middle of the driveshaft coupler. Slide the long driveshaft cover forward or back to expose the other coupler and remove the second roll pin. Slide the couplers away from the drop box and front pinion shaft and remove the shaft, cover and couplers.

Thank you, exactly the info I needed.

Regarding the steering wheel, do you think it's just a cruel joke in my shop manual telling me to "remove steering wheel with appropriate puller?" I can appreciate a good joke.

Must be a fine shop manual indeed if it tells you to remove the steering wheel for a clutch job yet ignores the front driveshaft.
