Ford 1920 filter cross reference

Just bought a Ford 1920 and need to change all the filters, does anyone have cross reference numbers, I checked the outer air filter and it had so much dirt in it its a wonder the machine was running and the inner filter was missing completely, this kind of concerns me, any help appreciated.

There is no inner air filter. Make sure you know the build date of the 1920 in order to get the correct hydraulic filter.

Well no wonder the inner filter was missing, went to the NAPA web site and they have all the filters listed, they are not that much cheaper than going to the dealership, noe if I could just find the brake disc reasonable I would be happy.

while you can get the oil filters and what not at napa.. I found that the dealer is generally not that much more. ok.. the oil fitler is a lil more at the dealer.. but a 1452 (1515) isn't a cheap filter at napa either.

My dealer gave me the wrong hydraulic filter even after I verified the serial number with them. Change the fluid and filter and then had all sorts of problems with air getting into the system. I checked all the lines and everything else trying to figure out what was wrong as I thought I somehow got air into the system and it wouldn't pass. It never dawned on me at the time it was the filter but that was exactly what it was. The wrong filter was letting air in and caused me all those headaches. So even knowing the serial number still didn't help me :laughing:

i used to have a hard time getting inner and outter air fitlers for my 7610s as there area parrently a couple types of fitler housings. I simply opted to write downt he correct number and ordered that way from then on to cut the confusion.

so I'd jot that filter # down in your manual front cover so you have it next time.

Got all the filters at NAPA, the hydraulic filter was quite a bit cheaper, now somebody please tell me where the oil sending unit is located, my oil light is on, before and after I chaged the oil, I must be going blind or senile, the wife sez the latter, just cannot locate it.
