Ford 1920 Radiator screen removal?

The debris screen just forward of the radiator slides down into slots or grooves on either side of the rad mounting frame.
The owners manual smugly says
"Clean the radiator front screen"
and shows a photo of the screen being easily lifted upwards.

The screen on my tractor doesn't lift out so easily; I have pulled and pryed, wriggled and thumped to no avail. It feels as if a pin or lock is holding it in place, but I cannot find it.
Can anyone educate me?

My 1920 took longer to pop the hood that to pull that screen.

The support tracks on either side are either pinched or packed full of dust.

I had moisture and dirt caked up in the U shape tracks on either side of the screen. I tapped it lightly with a rubber mallet to loosen it up and wiggled the screen out. since then after any brush hogging session, I take my leaf blower and clean the radiator and screen and never had any issue since then. The same dirt caked up between the fins of my radiator that was difficult to see and caused a bit of over temp. I used garden hose and a nozzle ( not pressure washer) to clean the radiator from both sides and that did the trick. Leaf blower really works great specially if it is done as PM (Preventative Maintenance).
