Ford 1920 Starter motor problem

Hi !
Some years I sold my Shibaura 1540.

Ok, but new tractor. This time a Ford 1920. Shibaura production.

Starter motor will not crank the engine. It spins inn but no futher action. Have to click 10 - 15 times before engine turn. When engine hot, no problem starting it.

Direct 12V connectors failing ?

Can't help with your starting problem, but I love my Ford 1920, and am sure you will too.

Take out negative lead that is attached to the frame, check for rust, wire brush and put back. Look at the connection at the starter for sign of corrosion. Clean and put thing back how you found them. Start and report and report back.
