I did the clutch replacement job last year: although I live in the UK I bought the overhauled clutch kit (excellent) in the US and imported it. The US price was just shy of $1000 (in the UK we can't get the overhaul kit and the new clutch ,without the bearings that came free in the kit, would have been nearly $5,000) freight and duties added about $350 all in. Although not particularly mechanical I did intend doing the fitting myself but the man who would have been the brains was unwell and I was in a hurry and didn't fancy ending up with a mess so took the whole lot to a very competent neighbour (not a ford/NH specialist) who took 16 hours and had no particular difficulty in doing it. The tractor works much better in respect of the selection of gears and the PTO is restored to functionality. Well worth it - not that there was a choice!
