Put a new clutch in my 2600 and I think I might have put the disc in wrong. Clutch works but engages/disengages at the bottom of the clutch pedal travel, but does fully engage/disengage. PTO works fine. Free travel is adjusted properly. Haven't run this tractor for over a year and I can't remember how it engaged before but I don't think it was as quickly as it is now and just seems to me it should have a little more travel. Is this an UNPROBLEM or do I get my jacks out and pull it back apart. I want to sell this tractor but I won't until I know I didn't screw it up. Thanks for any advice you can give.

If it were in backwards it probably would not disengage at all. New clutches always come in lower than worn out clutches. If it functions properly, adapt to the way it engages.

Thanks - I needed that. Just finished repainting it and I really didn't want to split it again. Thanks again.
