Hi everyone,

new at tractors, but trying to figure out what the difference in an industrial tractor and a regular agriculture tractors. Found a 1973 Ford 3400 with loader and backhoe for 7500 bucks. Saw a video of it that it works. My questions are whats the difference between ag and Industrial? It looks like that backhoe is just an attachment. Will I be able to hook up other implements like a brush hog, plow?

And does anyone know anything about the Ford 3400? I've found out that it has 47 horsepower which seems like a lot, but bigger is better right?

A 3400 is a 3000 with a heavy, non-adjustable front axle.
They were the smallest tractor that could be purchased as a TLB.
They may or may not have pto or 3 point. 47 hp is incorrect. They were rated about 37 hp at the pto - same as a 3000.
