3-Point Hitch Ford 3930 Lift arms don't hold over night.

The three point hydraulics on Fords will leak down slowly all of the time. Some more than others. The control valve will let a little oil past it. If the valve fits real tight as to not let oil past it, then it will stick. The unload valve plug can let oil past as well as the check valve. The piston seal will also. When the tractor is at operating temp, watch the lift arms when there is a load on them. Have the tractor running with the lift up about half way. The arms will move down a little and the control valve will move and raise the lift back to the set height. Get a manual if you can and read about it. Replacing the o ring seals will help. But if the unload valve plug is loose or the control valve is worn, they will have to be replaced. If the lift is correcting itself more than 2 or 3 times a minute, than it is probably too much and should be resealed.

Sorry for being so late to respond but I went out of town and haven't had a chance to get back on here.

Thanks for all of the replies, it does seem like from reading here and on Yesterday's Tractors that this is normal. As long as the lift isn't jumping then it's not a big deal. Not going to tear into it unless it gets worse I guess. Thanks again.
