Ford 3930

I have a 1992 Ford 3930 with dual fuel filter system which is leaking. I have replaced all the gaskets but still leaks. Can I replace the dual filter system with the newer style single filter systems used on the newer Ford 3930 Tractors?

This was answered in the other category, but you can do a Racor system too. Where are your leaks? Just like @Harry in Ky said that he has changed hundreds of CAV filters over the years and not had a problem, I too have changed them without leaks. If the filter is leaking around the cartridge, then you left an oring in the head OR there is something wrong with the filter head.

I have done many of these also. Changed all the gaskets and took apart three times still leaks. Going to take it apart tomorrow and see if i can find the problem. Just seemed like a solution to change to newer style single filter if that can be done. What part number would work? Thanks for your reply!
