Ford 4000 1972 height of 3 point hydraulic

Hello all

When i lower the back hydraulic of my ford 4000 (called The Smurf) it goes down to about 6 in from the ground and it goes up to about 2 feet. But i can lift it by hand another 8 inches. Is this normal? The bar is horizontal and adjusted to the highest position possible.

The feedback adjustment is not set right. Check your manual and it tells how to set it.
