Ford 4000 201 diesel timing

Ad the head redone and back together but it won't start pretty white smoke , no start, wondering if I have the valves out of adjustment, I have tried about 4 different ways but some of them call for ting mark at TDC and I can't find timing marks anywhere , I see if I pull the front off to get to timing gears is that the only place? Any help would be appreciated

Should be a small inspection plate on right side of engine rear that accesses the flywheel, which has timing marks on it.

So issue was a lack of fuel not timing, runs like a champ now
