Oil & Fuel Ford 4000 3 cyl diesel tractor hydraulic filter question

Where is the hydraulic filter on a 1967 Ford 4000 tractor and how do I change it. I note that the hydraulic / axle oil inlet is under seat, drain directly below and the level in the middle of the hydrualic lift feed where the rate control is but I cant work out where the filter might be

There is a suction screen and return filter located in the rear axle center section. Replacing the return filter requires that the hitch cover be removed, and replacing the suction screen may require that the PTO output shaft also be removed. The screen usually can be cleaned in place with a solvent when the lift cover is off and the oil is drained from the housing.

I have only recently brought the tractor never owned one before hence this question where is the hitch cover? (photo?) Can I not get in to the hydrualics from under the seat as implied by this;
