Currently rewiring the Ford 4000 due to the unfortunate rat brigade out at the ranch I got the tractor from. So I took the alternator off since I figured it wasn’t internally regulated due to the regulator block under the dash. Ended up being a 1965 Chevy alternator, so replaced it with an internally regulated one.
Question is - how exactly do I wire this alternator? The wiring harness I have has 3 wires running to the alternator. I bought the two prong “internally regulated socket plug” that plugs into the side of the alternator. I’ve seen where one of these wires will connect back into one of the alternator studs while the other wire runs somewhere? Hopefully I didn’t confuse anyone.
Thanks
