ford 4000 bare metal respray help

Hi i am new to this forum and i am currently restoring a ford 4000 after it was burnt in a fire. i will be sandblasting it down to the bare metal. could someone advise on the best paint to use on bare metal. will i use etch primer followed by 2k primmer or jst 1k primer? is 2k recommended for a tractor or not?

You're going to get allot of opinions on this one. if you're going to bare bright metal then I would just use a 2 part epoxy primer. I've never had good results with etch to be honest.

i haven't had good results either with tractors in the past with etch. people have told me that 2 part paints will crack and chip easy on a tractor.. is this true? if i where to use 2 part epoxy primer do i use ordinary primer on top of epoxy then finial gloss or what?
