Help... I have a Ford 4000 3 Cylinder Diesel that has been sitting for about 3 years and now it will not start. I used to start with no issues. I originally thought that it was a fuel issue. I have bleed to the filter (diesel with no Bubbles) and bleed to the CAV injector pump (diesel with no bubbles) but cannot get Diesel to the injectors(throttle is full on). I have read many suggestions on the internet and tried them so of them with no luck.
-Jacked the front of the tractor up a bit and re-bleed the system.
-Taped the side of the injector pump with a hammer while moving the fuel shut-off level
I think the fuel shut-off valve is stuck in the injector pump. Is there any way to release it without removing the pump? I'm not sure I can remove the pump with taking the front end loader off which would be a BIG job!!!!
The tractor is 6 hours away from home and have no internet access there so I'm trying to get some help/suggestions before I go back and try again.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
