Ford 4000 Commertial w/ backhoe

Hey guys,
Been lurking around and trying to find the info just google searching but that hasn't gotten me vary far.

I just made the final agreement on a Ford 4000 w/ selecto-speed. Industrial model with big backhoe and loader for $4200. The owner is delivering free and giving me two "Titan Road Grater" 12 ply tires that are at about 50% to put on it. $250 for tire install and new tubes puts us at $4450 all the hydros work pretty good even at low RPM. Some of the bushings and pins need replacement and there are a couple hydraulic leaks that need attention. This is a tentative agreement since he wants to wait till its warmer to deliver and we aren't paying till it's here...

Any thoughts anyone?

You drove it and checked everything out, right? Started cold, shifted selecto thru all speeds including reverse both when cold and fully warmed up? Is it old 4 cyl or 3 cyl? Gas or diesel? Price sounds good if all checks out and selecto needs no work.
