- Ford 4110 has GONE!! !! NEW HOLLAND TD 70 TD PLUSS is Now Here !@!
I have recently gone wild and SPLURGED out to buy this dear old tractor..
Its a Ford 4110 and I have used it twice in the last two weeks since buying it , and broken it twice.
1stly I broke one of the chains that hold the slasher steady , and then last week I broke off one of the Glides on the slasher ?? I know its crazy , but why me ??? .. The three bolts that held the glide on have all dissapeared.. but I do have the glide and will try and re-attach next time I am up on the farm .( about once every 2 -3 weeks)
My real question is about the gearbox..
This unit has column gear changes on the right side and column High and Low , forward - reverse lever on the column left side..
I have only been able to engage ONE gear out of the supposedly 8 available and this is quite frustrating .. despite trying all shown positions on the instruction decal.
Anyone know any secrets that I should be using ????
