Ford 4410 hydraulic power lift

It works when it wants to. I've changed pumps and filters and it acts like it loses its prime. I'm wondering if it has a check valve.

have you checked the oring on the rock shaft piston that would be my first stop on fixing a lift that isnt working then go from there
there is also a valve to the left of the lift lever underneath the seat flip it a couple of times and see if the lift comes up
