Price Check Ford 4600 English

I have a Ford 4600 made in England that works very well and I am thinking of selling it. The hour meter does not work so I do not know the hours, does anyone have an idea of a value? Thanks.

alot depends on the condition of the tins, paint, tires.. implements with it.. etc.

could be 3500-5000$ depending.

local economy and reginal distribution and demand will affect that as well.

I bought a rough look but running 4600 with clapped out 6' mower for 3900$ and turned it into a pretty nice machine in a couple months with alot of sweat equity...

The tractor is in good shape, just put a head gasket on last year. No impliments to sell with it. My local dealer offered $2,500 on trade for a TN75A New Holland, I thought that was very low considering how well it runs.I just finished cutting close to 60 acres of hay with it.

need to see the pictures of it does it have the 6 lug back rims does it have 30" back rubber or 32, 34,36,38's does it have flat top finders or the clam sell style or the european style flat top fenders what grill is in the tractor. All will affected the value of the tractor

unless it is a ugly rusty dog with bad rubber. 2500$ is way low.

I have had the chance to buy a ford 4000 for 2500$.. it was a gasser with no battery, and had owner-fied orchard fenders. pas tthat.. cheapest 4xxx I've seen was 3900$ and I bought that one.. a 4600... etc..

for 2500$? I'd keep it, unless you need the trade. or sell outright. you'll get more$ unless it's a bad area.

all depends on if you need the money now or later and whatnot.

no wrong answer here. 2500$ is undervalue, but not a free giveaway. i know what the dealer offered 2500$ as he will likely do up to 500$ of work if it needs it, then mark up a grand, and target that 4000$ mark if not 4500$ and drop to 4000$

if you don't want to dink with selling local.. you got the trade in.. if you want more $$ sell local.. etc.

again.. no wrong answer.. all just a matter of time and $

i will agree a running 4600 will always be worth more than 2500 unless its a big basket case but how much more can be tricky to figure out

yep.. and buying basket cases is tricky. I usually won't pay of scrap iron cases for a basket case job, unless I specifically see parts I know I can use and are worth more. ( rubber, rims, tins..e tc.. )
