the power beyond plate will go under that sa diverter remote.

or you could simply use a basic da valve plugged into that diverter, and then run the return hose back tot he sump via the pipe plug 'level check' connection on the axle trumpet.. a cheap da valve is about 80$ at tsc.

or you can get the spendy 400$ ( 200 used ) oe style remote valve that goes on the lift cover in place of that diverter.

all are viable options.

generic open center da spool and a spare hose and fitting.. etc are the cheapest route at probably 120$ for the valve and the extra hosing and connectors, and the return hose to the sump at the rear axle.

tractor supply and many other stores carry generic 'log splitter' style open center valves.. both sa and da, and some single and double spool, with some convertable to closed center.

just kind of a generic valve.. etc..

something similar:

I was looking at that website and they had this...Will this work also or what's the difference between the one you posted and this one.This is all new to me I appreciate the help. They look the same.

difference is about 120$

the kit I listed is a direct bolt on replacement for the lil option cover under the seat. you unbolt the cover and bolt this one on and run the hoses from there to the implement... etc.this kit is more$$.. like 120$ more.. you can also get this in a dual valve setup.. and it gets even more expensive.


your kit, you unbolt the lil cover, lift it up, and sandwich that power beyond plate under it and bolt back down. then it has an in/out port on the side that feeds a valve that you mount on a fender or other location.. your remote hoses then go from that valve to the implement. that kit comes with what looks like a single valve.. you can get kits with more than 1 valve.. or swap your own valve in at a later time.. and open center valve generally works.. but vlves designed for PB work better due to back pressure from the 3pt.. etc..

So if I want to keep it clean and simple without a bunch of hoses and couplers running anywhere this is the easiest and cleanest but most expensive.
Also if I'm understanding right a single spool valve control one cylinder and a double spool valve can control a single or a double?

a single top cover valve will control 1 cyl.. a dual top cover valve will control 2 cyl's. I know on the dual valves, you have the option to make one port operate in SA mode, witht he other port stying in DA mode. not sure on the single spool models.. but believe that also can be setup as SA by turning a screw, etc. ( same as the dual valve ).

they are more tidy yes.. and for a remote.. they are fine.

if you are running a loader or something.. it is a bit klunky controlling hte laoder from under your right leg.. however I do it on 2-3 of my tractors..
