I have a Ford 4610 with an Allied loader. The single rear remote runs the loader, I keep the remote lever tied back to run the loader, or return it to the center to use the three point lift.

I bought a transport disc and a hydraulic cylinder today.
Are the connections from the tractor to the loader quick connect, or what? I have a picture of the tractor side, I didn't think to look at the loader side of the hoses.

If I raise the loader and disconnect the hoses, will the loader fall, stay up, kill me or bystanders?

If I have to remove the loader to run my disc, I can. The directions for the loader make it sound easy. I just need a level spot.

Any tips for plumbing this cylinder?

I have never worked with hydraulics before.

Although you have fluid going to the loader when the remote lever is bungeed, when the loader valve is in neutral, the loader cyl are locked if they are good. If the loader is up, it should stay up. If the cyl leak, the loader will descend over time.

You can then unplug the remote lines for the loader and connect a cyl to the remote valve.

To reconnect the loader, you will have to release the pressure on the cyl, or brace and or raise the loader higher to relieve the pressure.

It would be best to take the loader off. Your hyd lines at the back look like they are the breakaway type, if so just push and give a quick pull and they well unplug. The QC loaders are real easy to take off, just go with the directions. After you do it 2 or 3 times you well wonder why I didn't do it before.

Then just hook the cyl lines up to the QC's and go.
