Ford 545C Industrial Tractor

We have this tractor, serial #A415924. The dealer we purchased it from says it is a 1982 model, but an online search told us it was only made from 88 to 90? Does anyone know what year it might actually be? We wrote down all the info we could still read from the tag in the tractor...............

mind you this is tractor data date.. so take it with a grain of salt.. but what it illustrates is you need to pin down what revision your 545 actually is. if it was said to be an 82.. then the dealer thinks it's a straight 545

i didn't see any data from 88 to 90 betwixt a to c.. so not sure of a B model..

the finer points of these post 65 industrials will be territory more suited to user RickB or Whodat.

A serial numbers started with the C series indicating they were built in Antwerp. Before that, they were built in Romeo, MI and the serial number started with a C. If the date code (the unit number on hood or the number on the transmission ledge above the starter with a number, letter, 2 numbers and possibly another letter) starts with a 2, then it is a 92.

There was no B model in the 445/545 models.
