A friend asked me to help him diagnose his Ford 600 based on my knowledge of Ferguson tractors. Going through the typical steps I found that the distributor was not turning when the tractor was turning over. I pulled the dist expecting a stripped gear but found that the drive gear wasn't turning either. Any help here? I believe that it is driven off the cam? Am I correct?
According to him it was driven under cover six months ago and hasn't started since.
