Hi there, well I was going about in the tractor graveyard looking for a Dry element aircleaner, when I stumbled across a 6600 dual power transmission(much to other halfs dismay!),Price is reasonable and I could use the underdrive while mowing paddocks for silage, question is:
My hydraulic pump has a bung where the the dual power line tees off pump, can I use my pump or will this overtax the PTO circuit?
Also with the dual power linkage, there seemed to be no solenoid or linkage there, how could I go about engaging dual power? Would it be best to fabricate a handle or footswitch to activate it?
From the letters on the transmission it seemed to be a 1979 model 6600 equiped with load monitor, would this mean I don't need a sprung centre clutch plate for the tractor to be smooth? I'm already thinking of going to a 13'' plate now as 12'' and 100hp might be a mismatch!!
Many thanks to you and have a great easter break....:confused2:
