I need to drain and refill hydraulic fluid in my Ford 720 loader. The breather is on the horizontal cross member pipe above the steering wheel and the drain plug is on the pipe under the engine. Do I put the fluid in at the breather?. How do I tell when it is full? How many gallons???

Thanks

I've got a 703 loader on my 871. It looks almost exactly like the 720. I drain mine at the return hose connection to the pump. Fill from the breather and right below the hyd levers on horizontal side rail theres a 3/4 riser pipe that has a pipe cap on it that is the fill level.

Just to be clear...#10 is the fill level...This means the fill level will be below the controller. I thought the fluid would have to be above the controller.

Yes #10 is the fill level. I take the cap off while filling, and try to keep the level about halfway up pipe.
