Ford 755 backhoe loader
Hello,
I am Wally Smith from Georgia. This is my first time here. I have a Ford 755 backhoe loader. I need to find a system relief valve for it. It is bypassing oil. It is no longer available from New Holland Dealers. I need to find a used one from a parted out tractor. The New Holland part # is E1NNA896AA. The reason I need the valve is that the one I have has a couple of parts missing. If I had specs on them they could be made easily. Any help would be welcome.

Did you ever identify the valve manufacturer and pursue it from that direction?
No, I have been unable to find any thing about who made this valve. I doubt that Ford made it. But I am not sure. One would think that this valve would not be designed for one specific model of one specific Tractor. I get no help from New Holland dealers on that. They either don't know or won't tell who made the valve or if something could replace it.

Can you just take the guts out of it and put a new one inline somewhere?

I'm having a hard time believing that valve body doesn't have a tag riveted to it or some kind of identifying mark cast into it.

Leejohn: I am considering trying to find another valve and blocking this one open somehow. I am not sure how to do this. I think just taking the innards out and sticking it back in the whole would just let all the oil bypass. I can't see what the inside of the hole it screws into looks like. there's barely enough room to get the cussed thing in and out. It screws in from the bottom.

RickB: I will take another look at the valve body and see if I can find any markings on it. It is underneath some stuff and hard to see it all.

I found a Gresen Hydraulics emblem stamped on the valve body. Number was hard to see but I think it was 8122

I downloaded the pdf and looked through it but didn't find my cartridge. I know that Parker bought out Gresen. But I can't tell if there is a Parker relief valve that would work in this valve body or not. But thanks for the pdf. Looks like some useful info there. Still trying to come up with a remedy. Oh, I almost forgot to ask;what does tandem center imply?

A tandem center valve lets the pump unload while blocking the cylinder ports.
