Ford 801 and 2000

Well my FIL sold these two tractors for a song. He sold them along with the 3 year old chinese tractor and got $1000 for the two Fords. The buyer hired a mechanic and he came out with a 12V battery and some sand paper and had both of them running in about 2 hrs. The Select-O-Matic or what ever it is called works just fine on the 870.

A GRAND EACH? Or a grand for BOTH? Either way, his buyer stole them. Someone is going to make several thou on that deal.

A grand total! He is going to fix one up for his sister and sell the other. And they got the old about 4' rough mower that had a plywood top on it. I am sure there was probably some good scrap metal and gear box in there. My FIL thought he would get better return on his time to fix up the house than to mess with the tractors.

Thanks for that information. I can't wait to get back out there and take another look at those tractors. I will let you know what numbers I find.
