Ford 8N Hydraulics

The Hydraulic oil is identified as yellow but I didn't catch the part number. They did flush the transmission with Diesel before filling.

I'll try and find out exactly what fluid they put in there

I called to identify the oil but unfortunately I'm not Hispanic so struggled somewhat.

Sounded like Tractor Yellow Hydraulic and Transmission fluid, Part # G04011??. I think he said Super Tech but if he did I can't find the part number anywhere.

So as not to mislead, I'm probably way off base on the manufacturer or supplier.

But he did say Tractor Yellow Hydraulic and Transmission fluid.

a hyd and trans mission fluid sounds like a utf fluid. if so.. probbaly ok, even if an older spec. if it was super tech.. that is walmart fluid, and is ok if utf.
