My dad ended up taking the mower to the local welding shop and getting the carrier assembly (the main shaft) straightened. It's not perfect, but better than it was. It still vibrates a little bit, but good enough for occasional use around the farm. So no gearboxes here. I hope you're successful in finding one though.

I have been scouring local yards and the Internet and after 3 months of searching, my grass is getting almost to the hood of my 1st year of production, Ford 2000!!

Sure thing. Dad's tractor is a Ford 2000 also with a 4 cylinder diesel. I'm not sure of the year. It seems to handle the mower pretty well.
Mine is the new style, in 65 or 66, with the 3cyl gas engine...26 hsp I believe I read somewhere...don't think this one is up to that, but 50 or 60 years haven't been so good to ME EITHER!!

My dad saw this mower on eBay which did not sell. It's not listed as a model 907, but dad said it looks like a 907.

The listing states the seller lives in Ghent, Kentucky. I'm not sure what the seller would need to have for the mower. The auction shows $99, but that may have been a starting price and the item may have had a minimum selling price higher than that.
If you do end up buying the mower and using the gearbox, we may be interested in the carrier assembly and/or one of the pulleys if you're scrapping the rest of the mower. It depends on the freight to Nebraska.
