Ford 917 flail mower in auction

I am selling a Ford 917 flail mower in a farm equipment consignment auction tomorrow. Although it is an old piece of equipment, it is in good working condition. It probably won't bring much because lots of people don't even know what it is. The guy that unloaded it asked "is that some kind of roller or something?" Guess what you think it will bring. I'll report back after the auction.

I bought one a few years ago for $500. Mine was about 66" wide. Replaced a couple bearings, painted it, used it a few times. Didn't really have a regular use for it as it sat idle most of the time. Sold it for $850.
If yours is in decent condition and at least 2 people know what it is and want it you might make a few bucks. Sometimes auction bidders get caught up in the bidding excitement and go overboard.
