Hello all,
Last year I picked up a Ford 917L flail to use behind my 855 in an effort to keep the pastures around my house in check. I installed all new cutters from Flailmaster and it worked fairly well. The cut was great but the unit had some vibration. Upon inspection I could see the pulley on the cutter shaft moving. Turns out it's not the stock pulley and actually has a tapered bore (shaft is straight). I can grab it and wobble it back and forth.
The pulley is measuring 5 inches across. Can someone with a 917L measure the pulley on their flail so I can try to source the correct size pulley?
Thank you!
