Does anyone have any ideas on how or where i can get 2 land plow coulters?
I bought a 2 bottom 16 inch plow last spring and the guy( my neighbor ) said he had taken the coulters off and put them away. Well he can't or does not have the ambition to find them. I have plowed without them on new ground and you can picture the mess. It took forever to harrow it smooth.I have priced them at Harveys in Doverfoxcroft and he said about $200.00 each.I cannot afford this much i paid $200.00 for the plow and came home and started rebuilding it ,new land sides,plow shares, shins,now it is in real good shape but i need 2 coulters w/brackets.I have 2 old single bottom plow coulters i may be able to make somthing of them if i have to.. any sugestions ?
