Hello all!
I have come here in search of information on a Ford LGT14D, and more specifically the Rotary belly deck that came with it.
This Ford was given to me by my uncle, and hasn't been cared for as much as it should (trying to fix all of the "temp" fixes over the years
). That being said, the Deck bearings were shot, and it had leaky fuel lines near the filter.
The mower deck on this tractor is a Ford, with Model number: 09SA1448, ID number: TM000951, and Unit number: 7B06B.
I bought 4 bearings and two seals to rebuild the two outside spindles, but my complications come from the middle spindle. There is a gearbox/transfer case that sits on top of the middle spindle. I took the whole gearbox off the deck shell, and my brother took it to a repair shop. There happened to be a customer who knew everything about the LGT, so he stripped the gearbox of the old bearings, and placed the mess into a box.
My problem is, I cannot find any information over this deck, or how to put it back together. I cant find any schematics, or repair manuals for the deck, only the tractor itself. I am looking for any information at all on how the gearbox goes back together, and seated on the deck. The spindles have new bearings in them, but I still need to affix the pulleys back on top, so any information on that would be appreciated too.
I know there is someone out there who knows what I am trying to do, and can help me out. I wish the gearbox never left my sight, so I could have watch the guy take it apart, but alas, finding said individual has been a lost effort.
