Okie,
I assume the 1110 is a slightly newer 1100 with some upgrades.
My dad bought an 1100 in about 1981 and used it for 20 years with almost zero problems. The only repair required was when a stick went through the radiator. It was 4wd, with a 2 cyl 13 hp (I think) diesel.
I was constantly amazed by how much it could do. It was capable of pulling a single-bottom plow quite handily (it had ag tires). If it got into trouble, there was always the rear locking differential. I don't know how turfs would do, but with a mower and tiller, they are probably the best option.
We used it with a 48" rear finish mower on about 3 acres of fescue with no problems. The tractor was occasionally underpowered when the grass got really thick and tall (over 12"), situations that really call for a rotary cutter. I think a mid-mount mower in this sized tractor would give most garden tractors a run for their money.
We never had any problems whatsoever with the hydraulics. Occasionally when trying to pull a fence post or lift something too heavy the relief valve would open. I'm ashamed to say it but I doubt the hydraulic fluid was changed more than once.
As far as a box blade, it should pull one just fine, but it will have it's limitations. It's a fairly light tractor compared to other compact diesels, and that should be considered. However, it will do a lot more than the best garden tractor on the market.
It should run the tiller fine. The manual tranny comes with 2 ranges, and 5 speeds. low range 1 is a virtual crawl so even if the tiller is a little oversized, you can go really slow.
Wish my dad had kept the little Ford, but he sold it 2-3 years ago. It had about 950 hours on the meter, but it could have been 1950 hours for all I know. Sold it, a rusted out rear finish mower, a disk, and a plow for $3,000. Only paid $3,600 for the setup 19 years earlier. Not bad.
As far as your cost, I'm not to up on the CDN-AM exchange rate, but it sounds o.k. If the tractor and implements are in good shape and don't have too many hours on them. One thing, the 1110 might have an independent pto, but I don't think the 1100 did. When you depressed the clutch, the tractor and the pto both stopped. An independent pto is kind of a nice thing to have, but not absolutely necessary.
Did I mention I wish my Dad had kept the little guy. He wishes he had too. I just dropped $3k on a little Kubota lawn tractor that is nice, but in no way shape or form has the capabilities of a sub-compact diesel tractor.
