Series 800 model 860
I’m looking to properly adjust the screws on this clutch plate. I haven’t been able to find the specs and was hoping to find some help here so I can get this old girl back to work.

Duffy, I`m going to go out on a limb here and guess that you do not have either the Ford tractor service manual or the I&T Ford tractor manual for your 860. The dual clutch must have a reference line scribed before disassembly to reassemble in the same orientation, and there are special fixtures needed to reassemble and adjust. Depending on how you disassembled your clutch, you may be better off at this point to buy a replacement clutch as they come already adjusted due to their complicated nature.

Try this if it opens for you.

I could open the pdf, that is good stuff thanks to Ford850. Good luck to you Duffy, if your clutch discs have enough material on them and if the clutch plates are in good shape, maybe you can get the clutch back together. If I were in your shoes, I would still order a new one as it would not be fun to get your clutch back together and in the tractor just to find out there was not enough adjustment to get it working. What was the original problem that led to you digging into the clutch?
