Does anyone have a cross reference for blades for a 951b 60"? Or a supplier. Have exhausted internet searches.

20" X 3" x 1/2" with 1 1/2" hole and 2 1/2" offset. CCW.

It's old but it works.

Thanks in advance.

I'm also trying to find an alternate supplier for these blades. Local dealers and online searches all point to the same OEM New Holland parts which a $260 for the pair of blades. I found similar blades on the shelf at Tractor Supply Company but they are 2-inches long too long. All the other dimensions matched. When I receive the OEM blades I am going to compare the cutting surface to see if I could shorten the TSC blades and then extend the cutting surface to match.

I wonder if we could use a 4" x 20" x 1/2"? The carrier is 4". Not that I can find one of those either, I see listed at TSC but not at any stores. If I do find one............... I use an overrun coupler on an old L175 so it would not push it around with the added weight momentum.

The New Holland blades I ordered arrived today. After seeing them compared to what we removed from the cutter I'm glad I purchased the new ones. I've attached an image of them. This is my 85-year-old father-in-laws equipment and all he ever did was raise the cutter as high as the tractor lift would go, slide under on his back and sharpen them with an angle grinder. He left the tractor running so the hydraulics wouldn't drift down and left the PTO shaft attached to give the blades some resistance to turning. He tried getting me to do it once and I refused. I told him it was too dangerous and I wasn't getting under it unless he shut the tractor off or disconnected the PTO shaft. I showed him the access cover to get to the nuts holding the blades on and suggested we take the blades off. He said that was a waste of time, his way was quicker. So these were the original blades on a 25-year-old rotary cutter. The parts counter guy at our local tractor dealer looked at them and said they were well past their expected life. Of course my father-in-law refuses to pay me back for them. He says that if he was able he would get under there, sharpen them and they would be just fine. Those will cut better! I flipped my over (no hole in deck access cover, not crawling under any bush hog to sharpen blades) and had to take the carrier off with a 15ton puller and torch. Sharpened the blades, which are just about as bad as your father in law's, and they will get me thru the summer. I'm just not ready to fork over the $260. I'll wait and see if someone else has an alternative.

I've got to move on to finding RSA plates for my 4600 Deere to put my 48 Backhoe on, another thread. Good luck, stay safe and have a great summer.

PS> If he doesn't have one get him an overrun coupler, runs about $60 but sure makes life easier and safer for the old tractors.
