Love my 1910, continues to be a workhorse. My 15 YO son was using to move wood with the loader last weekend and brought back stuck in 4th gear on the high side. The shifter lever looks to be pointing at a different gear but it's definitely in 4th. Low side shifts fine, PTO and all other trans related stuff works good. I've found a couple of movement related recommendations to pop it out but so far nothing has worked. It will not budge manually and I don't like to force expensive parts in/out of place. Two questions: 1) If I pull the plate off to see what's stuck, do I pull all bolts off around the perimeter and the ones under (2 each) shifter levers or just the perimeter and 2) is it likely to be fairly obvious where the fork/lever is stuck or is there a diagnostic procedure I need to follow to find what's stuck? I appreciate the help very much.
