if that is a 7 L 03 B that is a date code.
the C prefix number is a serial number. ( us model at that ).. vs( B= england or A= belguim )
7 is the year of the decade range.. ie.. '67' for a thousand series..or 77 for a x600 series.. etc etc..
L is november
03 is the day of the month
B is day shift
what machine is this on?

Since the "C" serial number range began with C100000 with the introduction of the 6X (thousand series) in 1964 I'd guess this is a 1977 build.

on another thread i see he is talking about an industrial 515.. so yeah.. 77 for sure..
