Three things show up in the last pic that give rise to questions.
a) what keeps the forks 'hooked' over the top rail, so that they don't get bumped off?

b) appears that the bottom of the forks do not butt up to the lower rail, and there is a 1" or so gap

c) appears that the 'corner' of the vertical to the horizontal sections is a weld joint, which gives rise to how much strength that welded joint has, and how much load it will handle.

Other than the forks themselves, the weldment and fabricated parts appear to be quite substantial. Hopefully you can get enough ballast on the rear to handle whatever loads (hay? or what?) planned for the forks.

You do nice work. Very befitting of the Deere 2210. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Beenthere you looked it over very good. A 2210 has a lift capacity of 700#. The forks are Three inch chanel iron. with fore 1/4" X 2 1/2" X 18" plates bent and welded inside. The forks are sitting on the floor when raised they sit level. Gravity holds the forks on for now. It would be possible to drop the frame out from under the fork if I were stackin or loading a truck. But if that becomes a problem it can easy be taken care of with a small pice of angle iron or a hole drilled and pin.

That sounds like it will hold up pretty well.
I trust you will find your forks as handy as I've found mine to be. Couldn't do without them.
I like the 'design' and fab of your quick-attach.

One other thing makes me nervious. I don't see anything holding them from sliding off the side. On my hilly ground, and taking a turn, and driving over a frozen cowpie or something, there would be a great deal of push to the side, with the steel on steel of your J hooks sliding - off the side? I'd want an endplate or end pin on each side of the upper angle iron.

I too was wondering about the bend in the forks, but sounds like you have that thought out.

Like they say, nice looking.
