Needed to sew some grass seed and I usually use an old pull-behind spike aerator for this. I run back and forth a few times to make some holes and loosen up the soil, then apply the seed and run over it a few more times to work it in.

However, I can never seem to get enough weight on the thing, so I solved that problem by clamping it to the pallet forks. Can get as much weight as I want this way. Wouldn't do the whole yard this way (kind of hard to turn...) but it worked perfectly for spiking in seed in patches.

I thought about trying to come up with a more permanent way to attach it to the forks, but the c-clamps worked perfectly, it never came loose.

Yeah, I know, kind of hard on that little aerator...
