And the weight on the forks is that much further out.IF you have to lift the weight of the bucket AND those forks, you won't be lifting much else!

Forklift went to the scrap yard a few months ago.sounds like a great way to twist the lip on the bucket.
I seem to remember seeing some companies that offer fork frames only for sale. you would have to verify fitment.
any chance that scrap forklift is still around so you can cut/remove the frame also and fabricate a ssqa mount?
I have a similar pair of forks; I made a frame that will fit on the 3-point or the FEL. It's extremely handy.
Today I used it to lift one end of a 20' container while I dragged it 400 yards to another plot.
I can't count the number of jobs I've done with this over the last 10 years.
Those forks are really tough; the frame had to evolve a bit before it was strong enough not to bend when I did silly things to it.

yes to above. the lifting capacity of your size tractor will be greatly reduced having forks extended over bucket, not worth the time & effort to modify attachment.IF you have to lift the weight of the bucket AND those forks, you won't be lifting much else!

I have a blank skid steer plate with 2 pieces of heavy angle iron welded on. You could use regular flat iron if you needed just takes extra welding. The top one has groves cut for the fork locks. It works well, adjusts a little stiff but the forks do not wiggle. Mounted a camera on the front of the tractor to see what I am picking up.I acquired a set of 36-in forks off a scraped forklift. They were free. Has anyone done any modification to put them on to a bucket?View attachment 1796796
