We just had our annual Farm Show here in Fort Wayne. It was a very nice event again this year and very well attended (almost too well at some points). I bought a couple tools, found an insulation vendor who quoted me just over half of my best prior bid for 1" of spray on foam insulation for my building and met a guy who owns a car dealership equipment company who offered to hook me up with a heavy duty commercial floor lift and whatever else I might want at cost in exchange for some help with contacts in this area (which I gave him from my Palm Pilot with no expectation of anything in return). All in all a very worthwhile trip to the Farm Show for me. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The show ended Friday at 5:30 and in two hours the same facility had 18"-24" of dirt packed down on the concrete floor for the ATPA Indoor Tractor Pull which began at 7:30 that night and ran through the weekend.
If you ever attend something like that indoors, PLEASE wear hearing protection and lots of it. I attended a college ballgame in another part of the facility Saturday night and it was loud enough for me in the parking lot when I was leaving after the game. Inside the building, you not only heard it but also felt it as those monsters hooked up. Quite an amazing display. If you're around this area you might want to mark your calender for next year as I'm sure it'll be bigger and better still. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
