I took and old Danuser Blade, Says it was made in Fulton Mo. I welded !/4" plate to the sides, cut rectangular holes in a 4" square tube and welded it to the side plates. I purchased the scarifying blades from TSC. I turned down some 3/4" steel to 5/8" and drilled the pin holes in the ends for the clips. Added some holders for the pins to slip into and reinforced the top and bottom where the blades are. I made a 2" receiver with ball and welded it on for towing.
Painted it up for the good ol US of A and here it is ready to dig.

I think that is the first box blade I have seen that pivots like a rear blade. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Nice paint too... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Almost too pretty to want to use.

Great job!

Do you keep your digicam in the Pelican case on the bench to protect it while in the shop? The blade looks good! I wonder why no box blades come with tilt built in?

Nice looking box blade. If we were to hook that one up would we have to salute it before we could use it? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Almost too handsome to drag in the dirt.

Well done. Good lookin' blade. It does, however, appear that the teeth on the scarifiers are upside down.....BobG in VA

Nice job and you have a great looking shop. How big is it? I've got 900 square feet and mine is fine for me, but cold this time of year.

Turfman:
My shop is only 24'x24' way too small! You can't have too big of a shop just like you can't have too big of a pole barn. My house furnace went out several years ago and I took my old furnace and fixed it up again and built an insulated little room on the side of my shop and put the Furnace in it, now I have heat and water, doesn't get any better than that( unless someone else paid for the Propane.)

Great job, Mansker! I did something similar. Not near as high quality, though. How does yours handle? Is there enough weight? The one I made is only 48" (much smaller tractor), and I built in a weight tray using the 4" tube as the front support, the blade as the back. Just made walls all around to contain some cement blocks.
