I'm in town at the crappy tire and I just remembered that I should pick up a replacement inline radiator pipe heater because mine is leaking. Can someone confirm the size? I think its 1-1/2" but just want to make sure.
Foton 254: Anyone know off hand what size rad pipe it has?

Hi, Im looking at a foton 354 , 2011,(to buy) was wondering if you would like to reply as to how satisfied you ae with your Foton, am very leary about this Chinese stuff , would appreciate a reply. John

Mine is a FT254 2009 with 375hrs on the clock.
The problem my tractor have since a few time is a noise when I depress the clutch pedal half way.
I will split the tractor before next winter to investigate the cause of the noise.
When I bought my tractor I was looking on the net what will be my best bet for the price I was willing to spend.
As I am retired mechanic I know if there is some issue with my tractor I could manage whatever happen. I know too that these machines are not sophisticated then simple to fix if needed as like any pieces of equipment that is working.
These Chinese tractors are good work horse for their size too.
For these tractors there is no shop manual but here on forum there is lots of great guys always ready to share their experience, if needed.

I haven't had mine long enough to really comment but my father had the tractor for 7 years and used it mostly for snow plowing and hauling firewood. The hardest part is trying to get parts and service if your not near a dealer. I can do my own mechanics so I don't mind it too much.
